The S&S Restaurant has been a Cambridge tradition since 1919. We offer everything from traditional deli to innovative entrees to award winning desserts. Saturday & Sunday Brunch and Take-Out are always special at the S&S along with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. We are located in historic Inman Square minutes from all of Cambridge, Downtown Boston, and Somerville. Come visit us.
Four generations ago, our great grandmother would welcome her customers in Yiddish: “Es and es.” A very maternal expression for eat and eat. Ma Edelstein’s special saying inspired the name for today’s S&S Restaurant. Over the years we’ve changed, but great food and great value are still the order of the day.
